It was an unexpected phone call. Jack was sitting on the sofa at home with the family dogs, Haley and LP, napping next to him. He immediately recognized the voice on the phone.
"Jack, this is Daniel Vanderush. I'm sitting in my office with Tony Mendola and we were talking about how you were treated unfairly in the Fayetteville office. I want to hire you back to work for us in Raleigh. We have an open position for an environmental engineer in permitting."
